SSOS is an Emergency Homeowners' Loan Program (EHLP) Counseling Agency

South Sound Outreach Services is an EHLP funded housing counseling agency. EHLP is a program that will give 0% interest loans to struggling homeowners (that qualify) for 24 months to help make mortgage payments (forgivable after 5 years if homeowner maintains payments).

If I am Qualified, What are the Next Steps?
Pre-applications were due on July 22nd but the federal government extended this through July 27th. There will be no additional calls for applications.

If you did submit an application and it was in the office by 5 pm on July 27th, you will be notified about your eligibility. There were more applications than funds available, so applications will be entered into a randomized selection process (a lottery).
