"No Wrong Door"

Whoever you are, whatever your situation is, we have a "no wrong door" approach to services. Whatever your need is, our outreach staff will listen to your situation and help you figure out your options.

Although we serve everyone, some of our services are of special interest to

• Homeowners,
• College students

Seniors

We often help seniors with medical benefits, including details about Medicare options and prescription drug assistance.

We can help you sign up for SNAP EBT Grocery Cards and find meal sites near you.

Are you worried being able to stay in your home? We can help you apply for in-home care. If you are having trouble paying your mortgage, our housing counselors may be able to help.

For home-bound seniors, our outreach staff may be able to come to you. We also visit area senior centers. 

People with Disabilities

We help with applications for Social Security disability, GAU and GAX programs.  We can also help you find resources and support. If you are home-bound, our outreach specialists may be able to come to your home.

Disabled Veterans

Two of our staff members are disabled veterans who are available to help other veterans with Veterans Aministration (VA) benefits and forms. Contact us for more information, or visit the VA website http://www.va.gov/ .

Homeowners

If you are a homeowner who is worried about your ability to pay your mortgage, call our housing counselors today. We may be able to help you prevent foreclosure. 

College Students

If you have a Work Study job, did you know that you can qualify for SNAP  EBT Grocery Card?  Student income from work study does not count as income that can disqualify you from this benefit. Come in to apply or call to do an application over teh phone.
