CityLine Appearance

Disability Lifeline

August 2010:  Executive Director Roberta Marsh in the Tacoma News Tribune on the replacement of the state GAU (General Assistance Unemployable) program with the stricter Disability Lifeline. Read the article here.

Connection Centers

April 2010:  The Connection Centers project, a collaboration between FISH Food Banks of Pierce County and South Sound Outreach Services, was honored at the Nonprofit Center's Awards Luncheon with the Weyerhaeuser Company Innovation Award.

Connection Centers offer outreach services to food bank clients in a convenient location, transforming five area food banks into points of entry for all South Sound Outreach Services programs.

Congratulations to everyone who has been working hard to make this great idea a reality!
